The more choices we have to make, the less likely we are to be happyunless and until we do the hard work of clarifying why we want what we want and what it will take to live accordingly.
Abundance Management is a four-phase process that goes beyond traditional time management to help you discover:
Abundance Management does not tell you what to do, but rather invites you to explore, define, and refine your version of success. It only cares that you are asking the right questions and then living by your answers.
It's time to get real.
Abundance Management holds no preconceived notions for your success – nor does it judge you or your definition of success. Everything is confidential. Nobody will know what you're working on unless you tell them.
If you're guilty of violating your own choices, you need to be called on it. You don't need another source of head-nodding in your life. Abundance Management helps you stay accountable and disciplined to your goals.
Define, with absolute clarity, your Driving Principle. Decide what success looks like for you. At your core, why do you do what you do?
Learn how to use critical thinking and creative thinking to gain a 360 degree perspective. Begin to ask new questions about your life.
Design your typical day - not a special day like a wedding or graduation - but your normal, responsible, entirely-of-your-making, wonderful, typical day. Then begin designing your one-page Principles Document, your personal roadmap to the life you really want.
Discipline is not a dirty word! Learn how to create a creative/critical thinking-based calendar that will help you develop new habits and new awareness for continued change.
Born and raised in Washington, DC, Warren Arbogast is an acclaimed photographer and poet, as well as a highly respected teacher and consultant, with more than 25 years of experience in the higher education, technology, and for-profit and non-profit business communities.
Among his other accomplishments, Warren served on the faculty of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and was nominated for a congressional award for creativity in community service.
It was in the course of intentionally redesigning his own life that Warren discovered and refined the principles of Abundance Management.
In Warren's first experiment with Abundance Management, he designed his own exercise and weight loss program and lost more than 100 pounds. He then went on to completely redesign his life to create space for his art.
He began to share his ideas with his clients and discovered a deep hunger among high performers for approaches that go beyond basic time management and enable people to actively design lives that, previously, they could have only dreamt about.
Warren splits his time between Washington DC and Guadalajara, Mexico. He works four days a week and devotes every morning to his art. He spends his afternoons helping his clients learn, at first in a small voice, to ask their own questions and find their own answers.
"Warren Arbogast is a master communicator who has a powerful message and story to tell. His unassuming approach inspires people to take ownership of their problems and approach them without the negative, polarizing influence of the blame game."
- Stephen, University President
"Warren provided a thought provoking presentation that was creative, fun and relevant. The workshop participants left with new ideas of how to communicate more effectively and solve business issues."
- Jayne, Vice President, Strategic Planning & Marketing
"Warren Arbogast has the rare ability to juggle vision and 'what could be' with a realistic assessment of what must happen to ensure institutional change is sustainable and personally meaningful to everyone within an organization."
- Anne, Chief Information Officer
"Completely changed my life lens, forcing me to CLEARLY DEFINE what freedom, success, and happiness REALLY meant to ME, allowing me to make difficult life-choices and develop the self-discipline to channel my independence into a productive, purposeful path instead of blindly chasing the next-big-thing."
- Jorge, CEO
"Warren Arbogast has the unique ability to see through the opaque and get to the real root of a problem. He possesses an unmatched passion for the success of everyone around him."
- Michael, COO
